THE RELUCTANT ‘HERO FOR HIRE’

Welcome to Harlem. A colorful, cultural hotbed of African American history who’s community is in need of a Street Level Hero. Treating this beloved comic with the respect and care it deserved was incredibly important to Netflix, Marvel, and the creative team at Addison. It was crucial for us to establish the city as a living and breathing character, speak to the community in the right voice, and visually lockdown the gritty urban aesthetic the streets are known for.
